Job Summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator – Level 3 or 4 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting its Payload & Ground Systems Division. The successful candidate will report to Contracts Administration Leadership and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with Program Management, Business Management, Operations, Business Development, and other functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead contract negotiation and contract administration activities from the proposal through closeout.
  • Help with customer communications and correspondence, support writing of Contracts Management proposal sections, prepare representations and certifications, OCI sweeps, and review terms and conditions, technical data rights, and assertions.
  • Administration of daily contract activities for a variety of product lines and contract types, including cost reimbursable and firm fixed; such activities will include establishing payment terms, initiating and monitoring invoicing, collections, and funding to support financial objectives.
  • Negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Interpret, apply, and follow contract acquisition rules, company policies, and customer specifications.
  • Data management in Costpoint and Contract Management System (CMS) on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of contract information.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Compile and analyze data; maintain historical information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of contract management experience – OR - Master's Degree with 3+ years of contract management experience.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with multiple contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee).
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts at the same time of varying value and risk level.
  • Working knowledge of Government and Commercial contracting requirements; understanding of international contracting a plus.
  • Ability to draft written correspondence and lead discussions related to basic contract execution issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace.
  • Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Contract Management Certification (Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified Commercial Contract Manager, Certified Federal Contract Manager, Certified Contract Management Associate).
Salary Range

$87,700 - $133,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
