Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to support our Production and Processing Supervisors in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative duties, including approving time cards, updating training systems, and interacting with hourly and salary personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and screen reports of absence from the call-in line.
  2. Assist with preparing weekend employee scheduling needs.
  3. Track and enter employee vacation time information in the database.
  4. Track and follow-up on employee sick leave.
  5. Enter information concerning melting/pouring heat submissions into the Phoenix and Aries databases.
  6. Assist with work order returns and MRS wheels.
  7. Utilize overtime lists to fill open positions due to call offs.
  8. Perform various administrative tasks, including typing letters, reports, and forms, accessing databases, making entries, and preparing reports and spreadsheets.
  9. Maintain accurate records related to training, incident reports, and support supervisors in the preparation of investigative documents.
  10. Provide administrative support for plant supervision.
  11. Use office equipment as required.
  12. Enter data for processing and/or record-keeping purposes.
  13. Promote good working relationships with employees and provide fair and equitable solutions for the Company.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma plus additional specialized business courses.
  • Over one and up to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability with computer using Microsoft Windows Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP, and HR/Payroll Systems.

Work Conditions:

  • Extremely light physical effort.
  • Flexibility working a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required – sometimes on short notice.
  • Unfavorable environment.
  • Minimum hazards.
