Position Overview: This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence for a significant portion of the week. The project manager will be expected to travel to client locations periodically.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate the planning and execution of software implementations and migrations of varying complexity.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.
  • Engage with both internal and external teams, utilizing industry-standard methodologies and tools.
  • Ensure timely escalation of high-priority issues and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage additional enterprise projects as required, contributing to the overall success of project delivery.

Key Duties:

  • Drive accountability across core and extended teams.
  • Coordinate project-related activities with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish regular meeting schedules and communication strategies.
  • Report and escalate project issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, including weekly status updates.
  • Ensure timely completion of project tasks within budget and scope.
  • Document and track project risks, actions, and issues.
  • Continuously review project dependencies and risks for effective management.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Define business cases and align objectives, scope, timing, and resources with stakeholders.
  • Plan and oversee daily project activities to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure a smooth transition between project and implementation teams.
  • Lead client meetings to communicate project objectives and results clearly.
  • Conduct project closeout procedures, identifying lessons learned and best practices.
  • Mentor less experienced staff as needed and champion project initiatives.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects with significant organizational impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within software development or IT.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as LAN Desk, Jira, and ServiceNow.
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to balance process compliance with business objectives.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and web technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
