Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the perioperative team to achieve high-quality patient care and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives to promote quality and safety
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare administration preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a perioperative setting
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice
  • Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) or Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) certification preferred
