As a hyper-growth company based in New York, we've raised $35m to date from top-tier VCs like Lightspeed and Primary Ventures. Our software team consists of seven engineers, two product managers, and two designers, working primarily from our office in Midtown Manhattan.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Product Manager with a background in Corporate Finance or Accounting to join our team in New York. As a key member of our software team, you'll work closely with the Head of Product and collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the future direction of Tabs.

Your first few months will involve research with our existing and prospective customers, extracting key insights and serving as an internal expert to teammates on Customer Experience, Design, Product, and Sales. By understanding how our platform fits into the needs of B2B Controllers and FP&A teams, we'll build a more impactful and sticky product.

What You'll Do
  • Work directly with our customers to understand how our product can help them and where their workflows can be augmented by Tabs software.
  • Research and analyze potential feature opportunities for Tabs software, gaining a deep understanding of pain points for our end users.
  • Build relationships with customers and monitor feedback to inform our strategic product direction and optimize offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the direction of the product and GTM strategy.
About You
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Accounting.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance principles and accounting practices.
  • Executive presence when working with external stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to translate and breakdown complex financial concepts for non-technical team members.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
