Position Overview

The Senior Facilities Engineering Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering expert guidance in Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs), leveraging a deep understanding of FCA methodologies and the ASTM Uniformat II classification system. This position is essential in supporting the Facilities team across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive technical report evaluations.
  • Draft and assess proposals to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Engage in business development initiatives and enhance client relationships through effective marketing of our services.
  • Execute FCAs, which include asset barcoding, equipment inventories, and thorough accessibility evaluations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth.
  • Oversee responsibilities at a regional level, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
  • For those with specialized Master-Level certification: a Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) credentials, or Master-level certification in a specialized area such as Master Code Professional (MCP).
  • Designation as a senior reviewer at a current or previous firm.
