Award Staffing is seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment to produce parts that meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment to produce parts that meet specifications
  • Basic machine setup and operation
  • Work includes short-run work requiring planning, layout, and performance of forming operations
  • Load cold-formed steel profiles into machines
  • Set up and operate light-gauge steel bending machines and equipment
  • Operate miscellaneous machines and hand-held tools
  • Follow quality control/quality assurance procedures
  • Inspect completed product for accuracy
  • Read production documents, label parts, and organize finished material
  • Check production paperwork in connection with shipments
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience preferred
  • Must have experience reading tape measure and good with fractions
  • Requires high school level reading and basic math skills
  • Requires basic carpentry skills and ability to operate hand tools
  • Work will involve frequent handling of moderate to heavy materials
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds repeatedly and 50 pounds on occasion
