Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance, with some knowledge of HVAC systems. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can adapt to changing priorities and communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vacant units by performing necessary repairs, refurbishments, and cleaning according to established standards.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and routine work orders promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property by managing refuse in common areas.
  • Conduct snow removal operations as required, utilizing appropriate equipment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks as per site requirements.
  • Participate in annual inspections of apartments as assigned.
Additional Duties
  • Adapt to organizational changes by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Work overtime when necessary, particularly for snow removal tasks.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform policies.
  • Provide courteous service to residents at all times.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in reading product instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Capable of accurately completing work orders.
  • Effective communication skills with staff and residents.
  • Ability to follow directions and operate power tools safely.
  • Valid driver's license as per site requirements.
