Job Summary

IMSolutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical personnel. This role requires strong writing, editing, and graphic presentation skills, as well as the ability to interpret technical documentation standards and communicate effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for maximum reader comprehension.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are addressed.
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation.
  • Review and/or copyedit content developed by other team members.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or a relevant technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an effective technical writer.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.
  • Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • U.S. Citizen or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three or more years.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification (e.g., Society for Technical Communication).

Benefits
  • $70,000 to $90,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
