Qualifications for Candidates:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET, etc.) with at least one (1) year of full-time experience in a role supporting individuals with mental health challenges, or completion of a minimum of 20 hours of job-specific training within the first year of employment (in addition to the required annual training).
  • Preferred: Certification in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or in progress towards substance use certification.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
  • First Aid certification from recognized agencies, including but not limited to the American Red Cross, to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Your Impact:

This role involves assisting both staff and clients in identifying the need for specialized services and exploring the availability of such services. You will provide resource identification, referral, and training support for clients and their families. Your efforts will include locating community resources to meet the needs of clients and families, while engaging with staff members, clients, families, external agencies, and the public.

Program Overview:
  • The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) serves as a short-term voluntary residential facility.
  • It is designed to assist adult residents, aged 18-59, who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis, enabling them to stabilize, recover, and reintegrate into the community.
Services provided include:
  • 24/7 operational support
  • Therapeutic and mental health services
  • Rehabilitation and recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation
  • Vocational counseling and support
  • Medication evaluation and management
  • Health and wellness education, including daily exercise
  • Crisis intervention services
