Job Overview

The Supply Chain Operations Analyst is responsible for conducting analytical reporting for Operations and other relevant departments. This role involves the development of new reporting tools as necessary, alongside the maintenance and enhancement of existing reports. The Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for all reporting inquiries and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and develop tools essential for the optimization of the supply chain.
  • Facilitate the integration of new production forecasts into planning processes as required.
  • Examine material forecasts and collaborate with relevant departments to mitigate supply chain disruptions and delays in delivery.
  • Assess raw material needs to guarantee availability, working closely with Buyers and Planners.
  • Evaluate inventory status concerning burn down and excess, providing reports as needed.
  • Lead and coordinate meetings between the Program Office and Supply Chain as necessary.
  • Offer material reporting assistance for both new and in-development products.
  • Support On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics and reporting in alignment with corporate standards.
  • Operate within the established constraints of quality and flight authority requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments regarding data and reporting obtained through diverse tools.
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems team to comprehend forecasts and Estimated Annual Usage (EAU) for Operations.
  • Analyze material forecasts to reduce costs and prevent delays in material availability across all product lines.
  • Work with respective departments to minimize supply chain interruptions and delivery slowdowns.
  • Make informed decisions for the planning department when escalation is not feasible.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Planning.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Access.
  • APICS CPIM Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with MRP and ERP systems.

The compensation range for this position is between $74,000 and $98,000, with the actual base pay varying based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
