Fairview Range is seeking a Culinary Support Associate to join our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will engage in various responsibilities including serving as an Expediter, Hostess, and managing the Dish Room. Your contributions will directly support patients, cafeteria operations, and special event meal services, all while adhering to established menus and departmental guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food production and service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with Health Department regulations to foster a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Exhibit knowledge and skills necessary to deliver appropriate care and service tailored to the age-specific needs of our diverse patient population.
- Gather information, conduct assessments, and develop effective care plans to meet the unique requirements of the individuals served.
Work Schedule:
This is a Casual position, with a flexible work schedule ranging from 0-40 hours per pay period. Anticipated hours are from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, including weekends as required. Opportunities may arise to pick up additional hours, including day shifts, when available.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in institutional food service is preferred.
- High school diploma is desirable.
- Coursework related to institutional food service is beneficial.
- Demonstrated hand-washing techniques for infection control.
- Utilization of two patient identifiers when delivering food products.
