Pharmacy Clerk Job Description

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Clerk to provide exceptional customer service and support in our Hibbing, Minnesota location.

This role involves completing sales transactions, maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy area, and greeting customers with a smile. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service by building loyalty and repeat business.
  • Championing Thrifty White programs, such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assisting with patient enrollment.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and checking merchandise to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Stocking, cleaning, and sorting pharmacy products.
  • Maintaining flexibility in new or changing work roles and adapting to modified job responsibilities.
  • Assisting with health aids department maintenance.
  • Learning and implementing new technologies to enhance pharmacy operations.

As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to stand for long periods. You must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
