Job Summary

The Group Sales Manager is a key role at The Sebastian Vail, responsible for driving sales growth through group bookings and partnerships. This position requires a strong focus on client relations, negotiation, and strategic sales planning to meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet group sales targets, collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless group bookings.
  • Lead a sales team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluation to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, organizations, and partners, negotiating contracts and agreements for group bookings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly, preparing sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote group sales opportunities, representing The Sebastian Vail in a professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record in sales management, preferably in group or hospitality sales.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend events as needed, with a customer-oriented approach and high level of professionalism.
