About the Role

Grand Hyatt Vail is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Sales Manager to handle the East Coast Market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to corporate or association groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to corporate or association groups
  • Manage accounts and conduct site inspections
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present effective proposals
  • Maintain well-organized documentation and reports
  • Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinate customer service requirements
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of hotel sales or comparable experience
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • Experience in selling luxury resorts in a seasonal setting (preferred)
  • Selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training (preferred)
