About the Role:

The Guest Services Attendant plays a vital role in creating a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant, and banquet guests. This includes arranging for cars to be parked or retrieved, arranging transportation for guests, and ensuring that guests' departure is swift and complete. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure, making necessary deliveries to and pick-ups from guest rooms, transporting guest and hotel packages and parcels, and providing exceptional service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel.
  • Unload guest luggage from car, tag it, and issue claim tickets to the guest.
  • Direct hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in.
  • Assure the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to the appropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars.
  • Provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions.
  • Load luggage in car for departing guests.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and deliver luggage to room upon check-in and pick up luggage from room upon departure.
  • Perform shoeshine service, picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them, and returning them to the guest.
  • Perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property.
Requirements:
  • Engaging attitude with genuine desire to assist all guests.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Schedule & Hours:
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Shifts may include early mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and holidays.
