Medical Office Assistant

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Plano, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$21 and a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as needed.
- Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
- Answer patient telephone calls and provide referrals to physicians or nurses/pharmacists.
- Perform administrative duties, such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception, as requested by supervisors or physicians.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a medical assistant.
- IV skills/experience is a plus.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
