Job Summary

University of Washington is seeking a skilled Technical Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Technical Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for independently guiding small to medium-level, complex projects for the Enterprise Technology Services and Architecture (ETS) team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting major enterprise IT projects, interacting with and supporting the PMO Project Managers leading the projects
  • Recommending improvements to communications, reporting, use of common project tools, processes and methodologies, and standards between ETS teams and the PMO
  • Using technical knowledge and expertise to analyze and compile technical requirements for assigned projects
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation relevant to the team's supported systems, processes, and ongoing support activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • 4+ years of experience must include: 4+ years' project management experience, 4+ years' experience planning, coordinating, executing, and managing technical activities, 4+ years hands-on technical experience with Windows and UNIX (preferably IBM AIX or Linux) systems, demonstrated experience guiding standard projects for database technologies, preferably Oracle and SQL
