Job Description

We are looking for a skilled 1st Class Ship Fitter to join our team in Newport News, VA. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in new construction and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Craft and install shipboard equipment
  2. Work at heights and in confined spaces
  3. Lift up to 50 pounds on your own
  4. Pass a preliminary written test and hands-on testing

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine shipfitting and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
