About the Role

We are seeking experienced 1st Class Ship Fitters for new construction projects in Newport News, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of shipboard equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a 1st Class Marine Shipfitter
  • New construction experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to read blueprints and navigate complex systems
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on your own
  • Pass a preliminary written test and hands-on testing
