Job Overview

The Levy Group of Companies is in search of a Maintenance Planner to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the maintenance division by overseeing parts inventory and orchestrating the planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks for both mobile equipment and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with site management and lead mechanics to establish priorities and develop weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans for mobile equipment and plant operations.
  • Managing the ordering and receipt of parts through a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Opening and closing work orders, as well as creating and tracking assets within the maintenance system.
  • Reconciling maintenance assets for both plant and mobile equipment.
  • Generating comprehensive work packages, including detailed work instructions for all scheduled work orders.
  • Assembling kits and staging parts for upcoming work orders.
  • Ensuring the expedited processing of emergency parts.
  • Assisting in the development of preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Tracking and analyzing maintenance data for reporting and budgeting purposes.
  • Coordinating the repair of rebuildable items and monitoring their progress.
  • Operating telehandlers or forklifts for loading and unloading parts and components.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized storeroom environment.
  • Coordinating vendor activities and schedules.
  • Developing and maintaining necessary reporting.
  • Completing additional projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in equipment maintenance with strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis for reporting.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or telehandlers.
  • Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying noise levels, temperature changes, and environmental conditions.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
