GENERAL SUMMARY:
The AP3 Unit Operations Specialist is tasked with ensuring that all operational processes are executed efficiently and in accordance with established quality standards. This position requires a thorough understanding of the AP3 Unit's functionality, emphasizing the importance of utilizing equipment to achieve the quality and productivity benchmarks set forth in our operational guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Verify the schedule of coils to ensure the correct coil is prepared for processing.
  2. Receive and confirm the coil number being processed while monitoring for any potential defects.
  3. Observe coils on the production line for alignment and defects, making adjustments as necessary.
  4. Collaborate with the Pickling/SKP operator to ensure seamless operation at the SKP/TLU.
  5. Assist the Pickling/SKP/Trim operator during setup and operation of the side trimmer.
  6. Initiate the coil processing to the Coiler Reel, ensuring proper insertion of interleaving paper and cores according to the operational guidelines.
  7. Maintain an adequate supply of the appropriate interleaving paper and cardboard cores.
  8. Accurately identify coils exiting the unit in compliance with operational instructions and maintain detailed machine records.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  10. Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned.
  11. Execute any additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
