About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Support Data Analyst to join our Concession Abuse Prevention (CAP) team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and eliminating concession abuse while preserving customer trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, assist, and continuously improve reports and metrics that support team operations
  • Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like Quicksight/Tableau
  • Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators to assess operation team performance
  • Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL, and other data manipulation languages
  • Conduct audits on a regular basis, identify root causes of defects, and find areas of improvement in the process being audited
  • Provide results of audits to Operations and Program teams on a daily/weekly basis
About the Team

You will be part of the CAP Data & Insights team, working alongside business analysts and business intelligence engineers. Our team assists the CAP Program, Product, and Operations, and we work in a Sprint mechanism with standard mechanisms to scale and standardize reporting across WW CAP Operations. Our preferred BI tool is QuickSight.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Data Analysis
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw insights
  • Ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to stakeholders and senior management
  • Self-driven and able to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or any other STEM field
  • Proficient with reporting tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly-changing environment
  • Solid communication skills and team player
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload
