Job Title: Clinical Analyst II

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Cabell Huntington Hospital/St. Mary as a Clinical Analyst II. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and controlling clinical system analysis and development for assigned areas, serving as a Project Leader on major projects, and providing technical guidance and recommendations concerning existing computer programs and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and control clinical system analysis and development for assigned areas
  • Serve as Project Leader on major projects
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations concerning existing computer programs and systems
  • Review and advise use departments on system requirements and implementation
  • Evaluate user requests and needs, estimate cost and time of implementation
  • Define testing parameters for clinical system changes, upgrades, and improvements
  • Analyze problems outlined by users and potential users of clinical systems
  • Develop flow charts of existing systems and work processes related to assigned clinical systems
  • Assist with the development of system objectives and comprehensive plans to organize work methodology
  • Provide technical support, assistance, and information to users
  • Compile information and data and prepare various reports related to computer systems and functions
  • Maintain a variety of records, accounts, logs, and files related to assigned clinical systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree required
  • 5+ years of position-related experience

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to produce clear and complete system documentation, and good interpersonal skills. Experience with implementing software solutions, understanding of current technical specifications of foundation systems, and experience with workflow design are also desirable.

Ability to coordinate, oversee, analyze, and maintain assigned clinical computer systems, direct and coordinate major analysis, upgrade, and change projects, provide technical guidance and recommendations concerning existing computer programs and systems, plan and organize work, meet schedules and time lines, work independently with little direction, and establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
