Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Technical Analyst to join our team at Marshall Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining revenue cycle systems and interfaces to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Development and Support: Develop, support, maintain, and revise revenue cycle systems and interfaces, including HL7 interfaces, EDI, APIs, and other related systems.
  • System Monitoring and Performance: Monitor system activities and performance of revenue cycle and related applications, and escalate issues to team members or vendors as necessary for effective issue resolution.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with the Director of Revenue, Director of Enterprise Clinical Applications, Operations analysts, and Financial analysts to provide timely and accurate financial, visit, RCM, and payer performance-related reporting.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues surrounding the use and support of revenue cycle and related IT systems.
  • System Installations and Upgrades: Participate in the planning and execution of revenue cycle and related system installations, upgrades, and processes to continually improve revenue cycle management.
  • Report Writing and Verification: Write and verify all revenue cycle reports from respective supporting IT systems.
  • Training and Documentation: Support the development of training documentation, presentations, and support programs for training team all business office staff.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation: Implement IT and revenue cycle policies and procedures within the IT environment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Accounting related field required. Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT support of a healthcare billing environment or development role required. Healthcare revenue cycle experience or background in AR Reimbursement and Receivables a plus. Priority given to experience in ProFit, Cerner Millennium, or CPM patient accounting.
