Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Record and administer medications in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the well-being of our residents.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough and detailed records of resident care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
  • Medication Storage and Security: Safely store and account for all medications, including controlled substances, to prevent misuse or loss.
  • Tube Feedings: Order, store, and administer tube feedings as prescribed by medical staff.
  • Training and Development: Assist in planning and conducting in-service training classes for caregivers, promoting ongoing education and skill development.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved school for Licensed Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current, valid LPN license in the State of Arizona.
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid card, fingerprint clearance card, and current TB test required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for serving seniors.
