Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Equiliem is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a correctional facility and be proficient in phlebotomy and IV insertion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in structured routine situations, free of scientific complexity.
- Assist with activities of daily living, administer treatments and routine tasks, and prepare patients for surgery, diagnostic tests, and examinations.
- Administer medications within the scope of practice, collect and process specimens accurately, and identify and set up intravenous equipment.
- Report pertinent observations, treatments, medications, incidents, and accidents to the Registered Professional Nurse and record same on appropriate documents.
- Contribute to nursing care plans, provide emotional support to patients and their families, and assist with the rehabilitation of patients according to the nursing care plan.
- Participate in Emergency Resuscitative Procedures by initiating a Team 7000 call and performing resuscitative procedures as directed by the team.
Requirements:
Completion of an educational program for licensure as a LPN, LPN licensure, and Basic Life Saver (BLS) certification.
