Patient Care Associate 3, Emergency Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Associate 3 to join our Emergency Services team at Salem Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide clinical support functions to promote a safe and compassionate patient care environment.
Responsibilities- Assist registered nurses in clinical support functions, including patient care and administrative tasks.
- Provide basic patient care, such as vital sign measurements and medication administration.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Nursing Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Armed Services Medic, or Home Health Aide experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of Phlebotomy and EKG training within one year of hire.
- Knowledge of English language sufficient to read, speak, and write accurately.
- Ability to lift and transport patients safely.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel.
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 36 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
