Job Summary

As a Patient Care Associate 3 at Salem Hospital, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a safe, compassionate, and supportive patient care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in clinical support functions to promote a safe and effective patient care environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Support patients with their physical and emotional needs, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Nursing Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Armed Services Medic, Home Health Aide, or comparable experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of training in Phlebotomy and EKG training within one year of hire.
  • Knowledge of English sufficient to read, speak, and write accurately.
  • Ability to lift and transport patients using safe patient handling techniques.
  • Basic computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills required.
