As an Early Childhood Educator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and facilitating activities tailored to the interests and needs of the children.
  • Engaging in daily communication with parents, documenting and sharing significant milestones in their child's day.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Applicants must successfully complete required state and company background checks and meet the minimum education and experience criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited institution, including six semester or nine quarter hours in courses directly related to childcare and/or child development, from birth to age six; OR
  • One year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed daycare center, along with 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited institution, including six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related to childcare and/or child development, from birth to age six; OR
  • Completion of credential programs approved by the Department in accordance with relevant guidelines.

Pay Range: $15.75 to $19.25

Compensation Range: $16.25 to $19.22

The compensation range provided is what Bright Horizons anticipates offering for this position. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, education, training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business considerations.
