Job Title: Jr Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Jr Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hawaiian Electric Company. As a Jr Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and infrastructure for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and infrastructure for our company, including transmission and distribution lines, substations, and generation facilities.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and presentations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on electrical systems and infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on transmission and distribution systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
