Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Building Construction Trades Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of building construction trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional materials and lessons to students
  • Provide students with timely assessments and feedback
  • Maintain accurate records and handle students' work and records in a professional manner
  • Practice effective class management and prioritize duties and use time wisely
  • Adhere to class schedules and meeting times and provide effective classroom/lab supervision
Requirements
  • At least an associate's degree in a related HVAC field or a state electrical contractor's license and at least five years of experience
  • Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information
