Job Title: Adjunct Building Construction Trades Instructor

York Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Building Construction Trades Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Building Construction Trades program.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver course syllabi, grading policies, and other relevant information to students in a timely manner.
  • Relate instructional materials, discussions, and examples to illustrate key concepts and principles.
  • Provide students with timely assessments and return results in a timely manner.
  • Relate assessments to course objectives and follow acceptable department and college grading policies.
  • Maintain a positive environment for optimum student performance.
Requirements:
  • At least an associate's degree in a related HVAC field or a state electrical contractor's license and at least five years of experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
