Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care Department at The Regional Veterinary Referral Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and other staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and exams
  • Monitor and care for critically ill patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Collect and process laboratory samples
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Veterinary Technology or related field
  • Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, RVT) or enrollment in a veterinary technology program
  • 1+ year of experience in emergency and critical care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
