Job Overview

Business Resources One is seeking a talented Landscape Design & Sales Consultant to contribute to our growth and success in the outdoor living sector. This role focuses on landscape design, project estimation, and sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly respond to client inquiries and leads.
  • Design and sell profitable landscape projects.
  • Meet and exceed annual personal sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit work orders for completed projects, including any necessary change orders.
  • Network effectively to cultivate future client relationships.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with past and current clients.
  • Support fellow sales team members with design work, estimates, proposals, and work orders.
  • Collaborate effectively with the operations team.
  • Provide monthly sales updates to the Director of Design.
  • Assist the operations team with material procurement as needed.
  • Participate in essential meetings, including bi-weekly one-on-ones with the Director of Design and regular sales team meetings.
  • Foster a positive company culture by taking pride in your work, supporting team members, and engaging in company events.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in selling profitable landscape design/build projects.
  • Achieve over $750,000 in annual landscape sales.
  • Exhibit a positive and outgoing demeanor.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a related field.
  • A 2-year degree in Horticulture, landscape construction, or a similar field is required; a 4-year degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture is preferred.
  • Proficient in using CAD programs such as Realtime Landscaping Architect, Uvision, or Dynascapes.
  • Familiarity with estimating software like LMN, Aspire, or similar tools.
  • Strong general computer skills and technological proficiency.
  • Knowledge of hardscape construction, landscaping practices, and drainage systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings as needed.
  • Ability to visualize landscape design elements to enhance the aesthetic appeal of client properties.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary plus commission, with first-year earnings potential between $75,000 and $125,000.
