POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will primarily concentrate on the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of personnel.

This role will also support various functions within the Human Resources (HR) department, including addressing employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and leave policies.

As a vital member of the HR team, you will contribute to the formulation of comprehensive HR policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the daily talent acquisition operations, which encompasses recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of qualified candidates; collaborate with departmental leaders to identify necessary skills and competencies for job openings.
  • Administer the online recruitment platform and source qualified candidates for any vacancies within BankFirst Financial Services.
  • Assist in the execution of the bank's benefits program, including new hire enrollment, year-end enrollments, and system entries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, along with recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR recruiting is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
  • Commitment to acting with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Familiarity with or the capacity to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
