Position Overview:
The Senior Process Engineer plays a crucial role in providing technical guidance for chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring that operations are safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Process Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Making strategic decisions to meet performance objectives related to safety, quality, waste reduction, capacity, reliability, and operational efficiency;
  • Collaborating with production planners to optimize production schedules and raw material usage;
  • Assisting management in evaluating and achieving key performance indicators;
  • Investigating performance issues and proposing effective technical solutions;
  • Acting as a process expert during the design and implementation of investment projects, working alongside technical professionals from various disciplines;
  • Developing and maintaining standards for operational documentation, including standard operating procedures and process descriptions;
  • Leading optimization and reliability teams to enhance performance across multiple sites;
  • Conducting Process Hazard Analyses and supporting the resolution of identified safety risks;
  • Designing and executing trials to improve plant performance;
  • Providing mentorship and training to junior engineers;
  • Representing manufacturing interests on technical teams and overseeing process management documentation;
  • Ensuring compliance with established procedures and design standards as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.

Preferred:
At least seven years of experience in a chemical manufacturing setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex problems effectively.
