Job Summary

Gevurtz Menashe, PC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Senior Paralegal to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a key member of our Family Law department, you will provide exceptional support to our attorneys, mentor junior paralegals, and deliver outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in Oregon Family Law cases, utilizing strong work ethic, knowledge of local and state rules, and expertise in basic legal proceedings.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior paralegals, delegating projects and overseeing their outcome.
  • Deliver exceptional client care from case inception to resolution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oregon Family Law.
  • Ability to independently assess client matters and contribute to case strategy.
  • Exceptional client service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new technology systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized knowledge of division of assets, tax implications, and local and state filing rules.
  • Experience with all stages of litigation, trial preparation, and court procedures.
