Join Impulse Space as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and contribute to the development of innovative manufacturing processes for our cutting-edge Helios vehicle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for tank integration and supporting structures. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the high-quality production of our hardware. * Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for tank integration and supporting structures
* Work with responsible engineers to solidify proper manufacturing processes
* Own the entire manufacturing life cycle for assigned projects and hardware
* Collaborate with machinists and technicians to produce high-quality hardware
* Work directly with outside vendors
* Update designs, manufacturing processes, and documentation to support continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field
* Demonstrated experience of developing manufacturing processes from scratch
* Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
* 6+ years' of demonstrated hands-on manufacturing experience

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Master's degree in an engineering discipline
* 10+ years' of demonstrated hands-on manufacturing experience within aerospace or related industry working with metallic structures
* Previous experience working within a start-up
* 4+ years' of demonstrated experience with welding (laser, friction stir weld, TIG, etc.)

Additional Information:

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
