Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with exams and procedures, administer medications, and perform tests under supervision.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
  • Manage front desk operations, including patient registration, insurance billing, and payment collection.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Support the mission and values of Providence Health & Services, demonstrating excellence, justice, and compassion in daily work and relationships.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • Experience providing high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some college education.
  • 2 years of recent experience working as a Medical Assistant.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
