Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Administer medications, perform basic lab tests, and assist with medical procedures
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for all patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in a clinic or hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
