Bloomy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing automated test equipment, ensuring high-quality manufacturing and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test automated test systems, test fixtures, cables, harnesses, and PCB assemblies
- Design and implement logical layouts for electrical shelves and panels
- Provide technical assistance and collaborate with engineers to identify and solve problems
- Modify prototypes, parts, and assemblies to correct defects
- Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation
- Obtain and maintain IPC certifications: J-STD-001 specialist, IPC-A-610 specialist, and IPC-A-620 specialist
- Follow and maintain company documentation standards
- Maintain and improve company quality processes
- Maintain inventory and maintenance of company tools
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Promote company goals and encourage continuous improvement through participation and teamwork
- Assist with shipping and receiving, maintenance of job materials, and facility maintenance as needed
- Minimum of 7 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Minimum of 7 years in systems build/implementation per engineering drawings, schematics, or wire diagrams
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to perform point-to-point wiring
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Product quality
- Efficiency against project budget
