We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Indiana Joint Replacement Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting clinical staff, and contributing to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care services, including scheduling, registration, and medical record documentation
- Assist physicians with procedures, examinations, and patient education
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and exam rooms
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
