DescriptionAs a Maintenance Worker with EL PROYECTO DEL BARRIO, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. Under the direct supervision of the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to keep our buildings clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, emptying trash, washing windows, dusting and waxing furniture, and cleaning restrooms.
- Notify the Site Supervisor of any repairs or additions to lighting, air conditioning/heating equipment.
- Monitor cleaning materials and supplies, notifying the Site Supervisor when they need to be ordered.
- Pick up supplies from vendors.
- Closing facility at night and ensuring security when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Submit to and pass a drug test, health screening report, and a criminal background clearance.
- Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, TDAP, MMR, Influenza (Flu), and a recent TB Test/Chest X-rays.
- Have one (1) year of work experience.
- Be bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
