Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the department in a professional and enthusiastic manner by providing exceptional customer service and support to internal staff, customers, and external secondary market investors.
  • Audit originated loan files to confirm compliance with agency, investor, and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare and deliver files to secondary market investors for purchase.
  • Work with secondary market investors to answer questions and obtain additional documentation necessary to facilitate loan purchase.
  • Proactively obtain additional documentation as required by company policy to complete loan file.
  • Collaborate with internal production and closing staff, as well as customers, to obtain required loan documentation.
  • Provide deficiency reporting to front-end operations, including trending to identify problematic areas for training and process improvement.
Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Understanding of the mortgage production process.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of service during peak periods.
  • Basic understanding of industry standard underwriting and compliance guidelines.
Education/Work Experience

Entry-level position with onsite training. 2 years of mortgage experience preferred.
