Job Title: Assistant Category Development Manager

Chobani is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Category Development Manager to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with category, consumer, and shopper insights data to create a clear direction for the category that aligns customer and Chobani strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support to the National Accounts team focused on retailers Publix, Costco, and Target.
  • Develop strategic and tactical recommendations to improve overall category performance.
  • Use key tools to create content for customer-specific presentations of relevant consumer insights, competitive responses, and new item/category selling presentations.
  • Continuously improve tools, templates, and processes to enable the team to maximize efficiency in performing their job requirements.
  • Provide ongoing trend analysis to seize value-creating opportunities and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Contribute to the post-promotion analysis process to review and improve the ROI and effectiveness of trade promotions.
  • Track category and brand performance and make recommendations on value-creating opportunities using insights gleaned from business reports.
  • Provide necessary summaries and important trend updates to key internal partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of consumer packaged goods category management experience.
  • High level of proficiency in working directly with headquarters-level customers.
  • Strong and proven leadership skills.
  • Strong cross-functional exposure/experience.
  • Highly customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
  • Proficient with reporting systems such as AC Nielsen, JDA, and Numerator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
  • Willingness to travel.

Compensation Range: $72,000.00-$108,000.00, plus bonus.
