POSITION OVERVIEW: The Firearms Production Specialist will play a multifaceted role in the firearms manufacturing process. Responsibilities will encompass various finishing stages, including laser engraving, sandblasting, tumbling, deburring, assembly, and support for shipping and receiving operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and maintain laser engraving machinery with high precision.
- Ensure accurate application of serial numbers, logos, and other identifiers on firearm components.
- Employ sandblasting methods to prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Execute tumbling processes to achieve the desired finish on firearm parts.
- Monitor and adjust tumbling equipment to comply with quality standards.
- Conduct deburring tasks on firearm components to ensure smooth surfaces and eliminate sharp edges.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy post-deburring.
- Assemble rifle scope and muzzle brake components into the final product.
- Assist in tracking inventory of both parts and finished products.
- Perform quality control checks on parts and assembled items.
- Troubleshoot product issues and identify potential design improvements.
- Support shipping and receiving tasks, including packing and unpacking firearm components.
- Ensure precise documentation and tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- ESSENTIAL: A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- ESSENTIAL: Attention to detail.
- PREFERRED: Experience in laser engraving, sandblasting, tumbling, deburring, assembly, or shipping.
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with firearm accessories.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the potential for weekend work as demand fluctuates.
