Machine Shop Apprentice

General Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our machine shop team as a Machine Shop Intern. As a key member of our production team, you will gain hands-on experience with our state-of-the-art CNC machines and contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and Load Fixtures: Load raw materials into fixtures for CNC machining, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Monitor Machining Process: Observe and assist with the CNC machining process, ensuring quality and precision.
- Deburr and Sandblast: Perform deburring and sandblasting tasks as needed to ensure smooth finishes.
- Assist with Inventory Tracking: Help track inventory of parts and assembled products, ensuring accurate records.
- Quality Control: Participate in quality control processes to ensure standards are met for parts and assembled products.
- Troubleshoot and Improve: Troubleshoot part/product issues and collaborate with the engineering team to identify potential design flaws and suggest improvements.
- Positive Attitude and Hard Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude in a fast-paced production environment.
- Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of Firearms Parts (Preferred): Familiarity with firearms parts is a plus, but not required.
