About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, contributing to the delivery of exceptional student services and experiences. As the Student Accessibility and Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal and state disability regulations.

You will lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure accessibility and inclusion across campus departments, working closely with university partners to anticipate and resolve difficulties related to accommodations and accessibility. Your expertise in assistive technology and alternative formats will enable you to provide valuable guidance to faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and guidance to university partners for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504, and other disability legislation.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure accessibility and inclusion across campus departments.
  • Manages exam facilitation procedures and modifications related to testing accommodations.
  • Liaises with faculty and staff to ensure accessibility needs are met.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in disability services, academic support, or student services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and other federal and state disability regulations.
  • Experience in developing and managing accommodation plans.
  • Mental Health First Aid, Suicide assessment training, and/or equivalent certifications.
