About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Accessibility Specialist to join our team at Whitworth University. As a key member of our Educational Support Services (ESS) office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students with disabilities receive equal access to academic opportunities.

Job Description
  • Provide leadership and guidance on ADA compliance across campus departments.
  • Analyze practices, processes, and resources to address student accommodations and inform decisions on best practices.
  • Manage exam facilitation procedures, modifications, and arrangements for testing accommodations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • One to three years of experience in disability services, academic support, or student services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of ADA, Section 504, and other federal and state disability regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Supervisory experience, including training and management of student support staff.

Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 per year. The university is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including benefits and retirement plans.
